Heroic Gundrak Easy First Boss Achievement (dif from other post)

There is an achievement with Slad'ran, the first boss in heroic Gundrak, called 'Snakes. Why'd It Have To Be Snakes (Defeat Slad'ran in Gundrak on Heroic Difficulty without getting snake wrapped.)'.

If the water method is not working for you because you find yourself getting wrapped, or some mobs bugging because of you evading, or some people can't co-ordinate themselves to dive into the water, here is a sure fire way of getting it without using any tricks. Will help if you have a hunter to MD or druid tank to run fast in cat form.

1. Clear ALL mobs, etc. to first Slad'ran (first boss). Leave Slad'ran and continue clearing to second boss (Drakkari Colossus, the mojo boss).

2. Pull and kill Drakkari Colossus per normal.

3. Now get hunter to MD or tank to pull Slad'ran to the second boss's area. Maybe a healer can help with pull if it is a pally/warrior tank because they cannot run to Drakkari Colossus' room fast enough.

4. Tank and spank Slad'ran in Drakkari Colossus's room.

5. Voila! - No small snakes therefore no wrap - DONG! Instant achievement.

Flaming in general is a bad idea, flaming in your own thread is an even worse one.

pulling into water doesnt work anymore. The snakes follow in there too now.

I had the achievement but tried this anyway, it did work but kinda risky imo unless their is an off healer.

Don't have to go into the 2nd bosses room even. The next room with the piles of bones will suffice. Have ranged on the bone pile 'ramp' into the collosus room and the tank/melee on the middle pile. The snakes wont leave the first room.
