Nitro Boosts (Engineering)

We all know how Blizzard nerfed the Rocket Boots Xtreme to make you drop the WSG flag when you activate them.

This may or may not be intended but the new Engineering Nitro Boosts will not make you drop the WSG flag upon activation, therefore a quick cap if used properly or if used in combination with Parachute Cloak or Flexweave Underlay.

As far as I know, the Nitro Boosts are treated like an enchant, and only increase your speed by 80% on use... So it's intended that they work on any boots, in any situation. They can also be used in arena. No exploit, sorry =(

These can't be a 80% speed increase since I can catch up to those on epic mounts when I activate them. As far as I know, they feel almost as fast as the Rocket Boot Xtreme. (But without the spinning at the end of the duration)

Says right in the comments on the link you gave that they're an 80% increase. Thottbot says 120%

Here is the deal, i have these myself, and have rocket boots xtream myself. Nitro boost is slightly faster than epic mount, 120% is correct, and rocket boots is WAY faster than epic mount, they just burn past that poor 100% mount.

As far as I know carbonite is really accurate when using its speedomoter, and it tracks it at 150%, where rocket boots are 300%.
