Stun mounted mobs and just fight one of them

I searched for this, but onlyone i found was a similar only with polymorph.
You can actully stun mobs that are mounted (need to stun them before u enter combat) and you will only fight the one on the mount and not the mount itself too (the mount doesn't give any loot).

Ah, I think I understand. As an example:

Stun the Orcs mounted on the Worgs in Hellfire, and they won't dismount, essentially making 2 mobs, one of which you don't get loot for, right?

If that's the case, once the stun wears off, do they dismount then? If they don't, this will definitely increase killing time for mobs like these.

I dont think thats what he is meaning to say. I belive he is meaning that some of the mobs in northrend count as 2.

I in my own experience have been able to freeze trap the mount and just sit back and range the mob down wiht out getting hit.

its very fun to do because the guy never jumps off and he doesnt evade.

Nono, I haven't tested it in Northrend. I found this out two years ago. When you stun the mob (example: the orcs on the worgs) they will dismount, BUT the worg wil just dissapear. I'm pretty sure it's not working on mounted mobs in Northrend since they counts as two mobs when you attack them.
