Drak'Tharon Keep, King Dred

I was in heroic Drak'Tharon Keep fighting King Dred, after the 10th time wiping I suggested fighting near the stairs because the adds seemed to come from around the entrance of the pen he's in and would be easier for the tank to pick up because they would have to run thru him to get to us. We moved him back to the stairs and we got 1 raptor add, but the next time he called for them none came. could have been the stairs, the distance or luck?!?! haven't been back to duplicate this but if someone could confirm great Enjoy

Are you a noob ?
King Dred use a spell "call of raptor" which basically call a raptor that is in the back. If you already killed all raptors that are in, then he cannot call them !
Raptor don't repop so that you can only one try the achievement in heroic on this boss.

u must be a noob. he keeps calling raptors during the fight. we were getting killed by 3-4 raptors. when we were near the stairs he would call but no raptor. yes u will not get credit for the acievement, but after that many wipes u don't even care.

Tank him a bit up the stairs, around the first "platform" or big step, and he'll never get any raptors adding. General strategy for anyone running heroics really.

What happened here was just luck. Sometimes, the raptors he calls get stuck in the fences, trees, stones, whatever. You just got lucky, he's bugged at the moment.

Although wiping on Dred is 110% fail if it works cool for those who do wipe on him.

Here is how the fight works:

If you have ANY raptors left, he will use raptor call. If you kill the raptor, he will call another (regardless of how many there are actually back there).

So, all you have to do is CC the raptor and he cannot call another one. It doesn't take a genious to figure this one out.
