Gathering Skill Mining Bug

Sorry if this is the wrong section but since I have been posting on the no level requirement for gathering skills post I figured I would share this bug with you guys. I didn't see this when I searched for it but so here goes.

The passive mining buff toughness increases your maximum health depending on your mining skill.
Rank 1 30 health
Rank 2 50 Health
Rank 3 70 Health
Rank 4 100 Health
Rank 5 300 Health
Rank 6 500 Health

There is a bug at the moment where Rank 3 gives you around 70 Stamina instead of 70 Health. I don't know the breakdown of them all but 225 is what you need for Rank 3 for around 70 stam. You can look at this armory link for proof instead of leveling your mining, for confirmation. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...l?r=Elune&n=Pk. He has a bonus of 126 stamina, but his only stam enchants are, 9 Stam to bracers, 4 Stats to chest (4 stam), Boars Speed to boots (9 Stam), and Nethercleft Leg Armor 40 Stam. 9+9+4+40= 62 stam
126-62=64 stam

Yeah I have to spend this weekend leveling my Herbalism and Mining . My wifes Warrior twink with Naxx shoulders will be around 3k HP unbuffed with this bug.

There is another thread on here about it, pre 3.0.2 gathering skills had no level requirement but there were no benefits so no one really leveled them. on the PTR once people found the passive buffs some twinks leveled there gathering professions so that when 3.0.2 came they would get the buffs, that way even if Blizz added a level requirement to the profession they would already have it and get to keep it. In 3.0.2 they added the level requirement, but in 3.0.3 (the last patch) if you read the patch notes, the took the level requirement off of them again. So basically now anyone can do this again, but just be sure to stop at 225 for the 70 stam instead of 70 health until they fix it, then when they do proceed on to max it out.

I think that there is no point in doing it. As someone say on the forum, in 7 days it'll be useless as upping mining/herbalism skills as we'll gain xp in bg.

I'm assuming you mean in 7 days WOTLK will be released and you will get XP from BG's? As far as I know this has not been confirmed and if/when they implement this it will likely be optional. You can level mining without getting XP by smelting. Herbalism is possible to do without XP but it would take a while and be a pain. But if anyone needs it explained I'd be more than glad to help.
