Also, are you pressed against the gate when you hit Alt+f4? Remember, you have to exit completely out of the game for this.

I never had that problem happen, but you said the second gate..so you got through the first correct?

Just finished class, so I'm going to give this a shot. Will update in about 5 minutes with results.

Edit:
First try- no luck. Alt+F4'd out, logged back in,w ent straight to my toon at the gate and spammed W. Gonna try again with logging into another toon first

Second Try- logged on another toon for a minute before logging back on. No luck. Going to try this with a whole bunch of programs running.

Third Try- Logged in with almost 100% of my CPU in use, but still nothing. Always log into myself running into the gate.


I start clicking as soon as the loading screen comes up and I don't stop until my character is clearly running into the gate. Not sure what else I can do. Although, perhaps unplugging my network at the end of the load may work?

Got it second try, first try it spawned me running in opposite direction o.O

Yes, you can be banned for it but this method will also get you banned if caught.

Never happened to me. I got a few friends to test this out, they got dc'd but when they logged back in, they was at the same place they had f4'd at.

Well adding the CD thing seemed to help quite a bit. Just got through both gates.
