[Exploit] Old Ironjaw from Ironforge, .1% chance into 3-5% chance?

Well ive only been able to do this on one character atm, Today i managed to catch Old Ironjaw using a similar trick to the one in:

[Exploit] Old Crafty from Orgrimmar, .1% chance into 30% chance

What i did was i went into Ironforge with the Daily quest of fishing in the cities and tried fishing using a +25 Fishing rod with +100 sharpened fish hook lure. Instead of looting the Baby crocolisk i left it in the loot window and continued to cast. I eventually ended up catching Old Ironjaw on my 28th cast. Im not sure whether this was luck or a bug. Could use a few people to test this out.

I posted the old crafty one, I will try the ironjaw as soon as I get that daily again!!!! Awesome find if it turns out to be working like that!

I never knew you could catch the baby crocolisk in Ironforge...

Yeah I thought the same thing as soon as I saw the Old Crafty tip, however the "Crocolisks in the City" quest tells Alliance to go to Stormwind not Ironforge, I'd have to assume you just got lucky.

It has been confirmed it works in Orgrimmar, but would not be so sure about Ironforge since the quest itself asks you to fish in either stormwind or orgrimmar.

you can fish up the crocolisk in ironforge but it didn't help me with fishing up old ironjaw tried it like 100 times in a row.

doesnt work in ironforge. 200 casts unsuccessful.

Doesn't work in IF, the quest for the croc is only for Storwmind and Orgrimmar. Tried it yesterday in Ironforge without any luck (150+ casts).

Hmmm odd i was getting a baby crocolisk on every cast in Ironforge. the only thing different was that i already had the quest item (baby crocolisk) in my bag from fishing in org, i deleted it once i started fishing in IF. Dropped all the time for me.

Ok, I did what you did, deleted my crok while I was inside IF to fish -- and yup, you're right, I started getting baby crocolisks every single time.

I tried first to leave them in the loot window and just recast if I didn't get old ironjaw, nothing after 50 casts. So, I tried looting the croks then trashing them and still, after 50 casts and 50 trashes I got no old ironjaw... I think it must've just been luck for you. Grats on being lucky! But I can say this doesn't work.

I'll have to see if this works. If it does then it will make the Salty achievement much easier on me.

It's luck...

I got 25 Fish Archievment and 2 Fishes after That I Fished this cool Fish :P

A guildmate is at the 1000 Fish Archievment and thats ALL in Ironforge & Orgrimmar
