Extra gold while you do AV.

8.5k honor is worth way more than 250g...

In the time it takes you to farm that much honor you could make several thousand gold,

and who ever needs to farm AV just for the marks

HERE is an example:


You just dinged 70, you're farming honor for your S2 welfare.
YOU FINISH FARMING HONOR, BUT YOU NEED MARKS.
YOU DO AV FOR THE MARKS, AND YOU WIND UP WITH A SHITTON OF EXTRA HONOR. YOU NEEDED TO DO AV ANYWAY, SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL USE THE HONOR AND MAKE GOLD OFF OF IT.

On my server those gems goes under 80g anyway so not worth it tbh.

This IS common knowledge that the gems is no longer unique or BoP, is written in the patchnotes..
If stuff written i patchnotes is not considered common knowledge then i really wanna know what is "common knowledge" to you..
Besides, no one pays 250g for them gems anyway, they sell for 50-75g on my servers.
I can find like 87354676 ideas that make more gold/hour then this "trick"..

some people are just being an ass in this thead, you're insulting the OP when you obviously can't read yourself. the point of this is you make money while doing a seperate task. its like when you grind xp you also get the ocassional green/blue that sells in the AH, this just swops round to you grinding marks for [item] and you occasionally get some gold why you are at it.

As for christian. Shut the hell up. Some off us may have lifes and don't have time to sit there and search every detail off the patch notes. Hell most off us are doing other things while patching. We don't all sit there with a stopwatch timing how much time we're losing to play wow and searching for typo's just to feel superior to blizzard
