Aspect of the Viper Skinning Glitch

This is not amazingly useful, but it helps get rid of some down time. Which i guess can be a big plus with WotLK coming out soon.

Anyhoo, the glitch is:
(SKINNING NECESSARY)

As a Hunter put on Aspect of the Viper
Kill a mob with any various method
Loot the mob
Skin the Mob

After skinning the mob you regain the amount of mana you would normally get from a melee or ranged attack.

Enjoy faster farming/grinding

Guess what? The time that it takes to skin, you can sit and have one drink of water. Unless for some strange reason it gives you half a bar of mana.

Guess what? It's still a non intended bug. If you didn't loot the mob you could keep regaining mana from this trick. If you were fighting many beast mobs and feared one, you could do this instead of drinking. This seems to me that it has many different uses. Thanks, I'll use this on my Hunter.

Are you sure? Viper now passively increases mana by 4% every 3 seconds. Maybe this is what you experienced.

Nope. Over 9000% sure that it regenerates mana equal to your ranged attack speed or whatever it is right after you skin the mob.

I took a SS but i dont see the point because it could just look like any other aspect of the viper tick.

It would be more of a 'tip' then even a Exploit...

The hunter takes on the aspect of the viper, causing ranged and melee attacks to regenerate mana but reducing your total damage done by 50%. In addition, you gain 4% of maximum mana every 3 sec. Mana gained is based on the speed of your ranged weapon. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.

but as per what the tooltip for the ability would say - this is not working as intended... Still not that useful though...

Skinning isn't a ranged or melee attack. And how is this common sense?

or you could just shoot at the mob a couple of times with viper on? That might actually be faster then skinning a mob. But sure it will help a bit if you where planning on skinning the mobs any way!
