Doing Chess Event in Fresh Instance

@threadcreator: what software do u use for making the vid.? i cant get it to be good quality (like yours) and small filesize

i use fraps to record, very big size the avi files.. then i use sonyvegas but im not so good with this... maybe u can help me out with some kinda fast guide

I fraps at 1440x900 and use a Dual Core cpu so i can run fraps at full frame. That makes my source video like if i was playing the game insted of half which would make my chat unreadable. I also use sony vegas to edit and encode it. If you dont have a dual core cpu max res you can record at with full frame is 1152x864.

Dual Core cpu, not Duel screen lol. Nice video and nice find. I might try this on my hunter but soloing the chess event and seems hard. thanks +rep

Once you have the walljump thing mastered its EZ...
You just need to pass 3 mobs, the prince (do it correctly and you wont pull him), a fleshbeast standing still (last mob before prince) and then at the place where he does the second walljump.

I did it solo as a hunter, if you mastered this it takes like 15-20 mins, even faster if you are really good.
We cleared till curator yesterday, no time left to go on, so i tried to solo this and it works like a charm...


Now the chessevent itself, I tried 2 times and second time I mastered it, really easy!

1. control the king, needed to start the event
2. release king and control conjurer
3. use the conjurers ranged attack to get down the other kings hp
4. the conjurer dies by ranged fire attacks, you will release
5. by this time the other king is around 50%.. he will be healed.
6.The horde king is in front of the alliance king, with one alliance pin defending itµ
7. control king, wait till peon dies, kill king
8. loot

Got me the fiend slayer boots (had them already) and the cloth head (forgot name)...
The vendorprice for them (dont have enchanting) is 8G, not worth the trouble and the repairs, but Its the chance on getting something nice that drives you

I wonder (didnt have time to check yesterday and reset today) if it is possible to solo mobs or bosses from within these walls...
Would be pretty cool to solo mobs or bosses cause you aer in a place unreachable to them...

Like when you are at the last walljump, is it possible to pull the patroll and kill without he can touch you? or will he evade?
Or with the prince... would be cool to attack hum before you make the jump and kill him :P

man, just scroll up, i just explained how i done it, tried multiple times even after i beated it, that is imo the best way, you dont lose a lot of time switching and moving...

Did it with a mage. Used auto-unstuck, invisibility past the ghosts, invisibility at the flesh beast after Prince and 1 swiftness potion to make the jump.

Scenario 2 @ how to win..

1.Talk to king
2.Cancel Control of king right away
3.Wait until the debuff wears off
4.Take control of the footman in front of the right healer, move 1 step forward.
- By this time alot of footman from opposite site have moved around. Don't think you wont make it. You probably will.
5.Take control of the Queen, nuke other queen (might have to step 1 square forward if the opposite queen havn't moved yet)(takes time, I did this until at like 10% left then they full healed themself in 1 spell.. Just start over again.)
6.When you have killed opposite queen with your queen, nuke down the healer closest to their king.
7.If your queen is still alive as the first healer goes down, start nuking king.
8.If your queen is dead, move a Tower and AOE for it, at this time you might have to move your king out of any dmg over time effect.

I always seem to kill all three with my queen, 2 moves actually..
Queen nukes other queen, healer and king.

Did it right now, managed on second try using this tactic:

1. Control king
2. remove king control
3. control conjurer
4. nuke the orc warlock
5. nuke 1 of the orc healers(acolyte)
6. nuke Warchief blackhand.

done.

did it 5 min ago, had some training on wall jumps yesterday though ^^
king was down at my fourth attempt, just nuked him continously with the warlock, as he had also a peon and a priest on him

looted mail boots and caster ring, none of my rogue stuff
will try again next week, need that belt

EDIT: Little tip

If you've no friend on or if you don't want other players to know about your exploit, just create a 10 days trial account, a lvl 1 character (of your faction...), and invite him in party (double launch wow.exe in windowed mod), then change to raid mod, and log off your alt and close the second wow window, your raid is ready !
