Doing Chess Event in Fresh Instance

do you actually have to know how to play chess for this event, since i havent played chess and i dont know how :P

It took me a good couple of trys but as Ritz* said wait untill their king comes out and nuke him.

edit: I finally came the whole way out, i made it the whole way to the last part where you have to jump out of the edge, where that ugly shit patrols, i never make it before that fat patrol comes back, its really hard... ill try again ^^

yes but you will need invisibilty pots and 1 speed pot as a warrior it seems like from the video. but i was wondering if those pots would even last long enough to do it since the invisibilty last 12 seconds i think. it would be awsome i someone posted a video using pots

this chest event is such a pain in the ass! i got their king to 20% and that mofo healed every1 to full hp, then my healers died... that was the best i ever got, usually they nuke my healers very fast. this is soloable, but you have to be lucky and fast as hell!
takes lots of tries, and there is a vendor next to the chess room where you can repair :P

Event soloed, didnt have any friends on so I used my friends account to make a raid group so I could get in.

I was still thinking about this if you brought along 3 people including a warlock and had someone stand buy in a city you could whisper him the loot you get and he advertise /2 WTS (item) (item) 1500g (or w/e price u want) a piece! you must be kara attuned we will summon you to the chest. and to make sure they didnt ninja it when they got there you would just have someone have the chest open and then backup once he pays. thats a crap load of money if u did that every week
