I've got to disagree with you when you say that this is a stupid thread because it isn't. In fact if you really think about it, this does provide information which those whom decide to scam guilds could use this to their advantage.
For example, you make a guild that you want to scam by correcting a capital letter. You then figure out where a member of that guild is and stand in front of him when you use the /tell system. Most of the time, the guild member will not check the guild roster and carry out a conversation with the fake guild member. At this point the fake guild member can make his move and attempt the scam.
However, if the scam fails then the fake guild is pointless. Best way to do this is get enough alts on a second account to sign the guild charter. Rinse and repeat for each different guild scam.
