ok, so you start the duel, and mount. then the mage frost novas, polys and frostbolts. so what is the point of the cone of cold?

Duel a mage, any mage will do.
Mount on to your flying mount in OUTLAND, and stand on the ground, so you aren't flying in front of the mage.
When you are ready, have the mage cast Frost Nova, then Polymorph, then Frostbolt and then Cone of Cold in quick succesion.
While you are polymorphed, select the mage so you can see his casting bar for frostbolt. Just before the Frostbolt hits you, spam jump until he's finished casting Cone of Cold. After that, you'll be swimming in the air.
Once in the air you can shoot, cast and do anything you can normally while swimming. If you head back to the ground, you land and can mount up or drink/eat. If you mount onto a flying mount the effect is cancelled once you launch, but if you mount onto a ground mount you can 'fly' whilst on it. Also, this effect isn't cancelled if you use a Hearthstone or Gryphon, but it is cancelled if you go into an instance or exit Outland. It is also cancelled if you log out.

ah thnx, i'll try again in a sec, so even if he casted cone of cold if i spam my jump to much after it i still swim in the air or do i have to stop when cone of cold is done ? and i can drink/eat on the ground and then i just jump in the air and still swimming or do i have to duel a mage again ?

After having Cone of Cold casted on you, you can hit jump as much as you like, you'll just go higher and higher

And yes, you can just jump again to take off after landing to eat/drink/mount etc.

pff aint working for me, maybe some1 got movie ( not the mage movie but the one who has to jump and can he say when exactly to jump) or did they already fixed it ? can u try it again

It works, as of this morning, it just requires practice and timing, keep at it and it'll work eventually

It works everywhere, as long as it is in Outland and not instanced
