Solo raid bosses/other bosses. (How to + suggestion)

First off let me say sorry if this post makes no sense, or it's in the wrong forum. This is my first real post on mmowned, and im just trying to help also maybe get some cool stuff started

Alright so I recently got wowinfinity, and decided to see what kind of fun i could have... and well i got the idea of soloing bosses.

Now this works with various bosses in instances (heroic or not) but this is probably the easiest raid boss to solo (but you can probably find others)

WoWinfinity has a thing a option called collision, if you change collision to -2 you can practically "fly" around.

So anyways, go into SSC start flying around and go behind the boss Hydross (first boss) and be just above the water and not on the platform where is, then cast a instant spell and he will start running away from you as he tries to go into the water to hit you, then fly over top of the land and he will come back to you. Keep repeating going over land and water casting instant spells until he dies and then profit with free epics.

Now this would work anywhere where there's multiple paths a boss could take.

NOW, a little throw out to all the good model editors out there. another really easy way to do this would be to make a path from the start of the instance to the back of the first boss. This way you can just keep walking back and forth on the terrain casting instant spells until he dies, instead of having to use a 'fly' hack.

IF ANYONE makes a model edit to do this, I wouldn't mind using it also. Plus it would be good for everyone else who doesen't have WoW infinity. I'm currently learning to model edit, but i suck at it right now.

I have also been able to get various other bosses in karazhan down to like 80% but yet to kill one, but i'm currently working on getting a strat down for those. So when i get good at soloing those guys, ill post a guide for anyone who wants to solo karazhan bosses.

There are videos of locks being able to do this without hacks before he was nerfed.

yep a lock could solo but got nerved, was a long run it was done in though

Yeah, a lock solo'ed it.

But, even if you can pull it off ( you will be going on for 1.5/2 hours in tk/scc geared char ) Blizzard will check/ log all raid encounters or attempts.

So, if you wan't try, i suggest using a scammed account or something.

OP is talking about using hacks to solo him, not the exploit.

umm...I dont really see this possible.

Health: 3,400,000

Lets say you run 2k dps. Thats pretty good if your moving back and forth like that.

3,400,000/2,000=1,700 seconds

1,700/60=28.3 minutes

Hydross enrages after 10 minutes...Even if you double up your dps to run 4k, you still wouldnt beat it.

Am I missing something? Because your video doesn't explain much to me. I'd like to see one of you killing him.

Been playing around with wowinfinity myself, and here's what iv'e found out:


Most bosses (level 70+), if not 99% of them, are unable to solo even with wowinfinity.
The reason for this is either:

1. The boss have adds.
2. The boss doesn't have any ledges or water or anything around it.
3. The boss has instant cast spells, spells, AoE or/and DoTs.

Iv'e also tried to:

Get to kara chess event. I made it successfully, but i didn't google it before i went there so there's no pieces there until you make the opera event.
But that's when the thought hit me:

All the people who actually start the opera event, either die or is successfull and moves on. This means, if they want to move on and eventually get to the chess event, opera has to be dead.
But maybe opera event just has to be started?

Start it, i don't know how, just a theory here, and use wowinfinity to get inside the walls or something quickly. Now quickly move to the location of the chess event, and maybe there are pieces there now?

The reason i think this may work is because blizzard scripts these events. And it's fully possible that they have scripted opera so that when you acutally start it, the chess event monsters spawns? Because there is no way to get through to chess event without killing opera, after starting it. Unless you have wowinfinity.

Why would it matter if he enraged? The point of going on and off the platform is to NOT get hit. Doesn't matter if he enrages to do more dmg.
