    Warning for GM's presence

Now i'm not sure if this is true.....but I was just guessing and it seems kinda logical. I noticed the other day when I had a GM petition up, it said "your ticket will soon be serviced" about ten minutes before I spoke to a GM. Now i'm not sure, but could this mean that when the little notification message chages from "You have an open ticket" to the other message that a GM is currently on your server. I dont know anything about GMs, but I dont think its possible for them to be on every server at once.
So maybe all you hackers out there could try using an open ticket as like a notification to stop using hacks or whatever and close whatever program your running
lol sorry i dont know anything about this i'm just guessing here

*EDIT* : Plus i'm sure a GM wont suspect someone who nicely and politely asks them a quick question about honor points or something like that could be seriously cheating the game right under there nose

It does not mean he's at your server. It means your ticket is soon at the top of the queue.
    EDIT. Isn't it kinda obvious?

Heh i also think that if you are hacking and cheating Why the hell would you call a GM in the first place? that's just weird
All GM's on WoW are either Friendly and funny Or Chinese macro bots.

    Re: Warning for GM's presence

Hackers open a ticket and when it says it'll be serviced soon there is a GM on your server and you close hacks
    -_-stupid post
and hard to write while healing
And it means that your ticket is soon at he top of the queue, not GM on your server. They are there 24/7

No i wont stop using hacks, not even if a GM whispers me.. It's not hacking, cause i'm not damaging the server.. I'm just bending the game rules a little.. The EULA and TOS and w/e readme's cannot apply in my country.

    Re: Warning for GM's presence

GM's are always on all servers at once (sort of... will explain later) but basicly the only log in to WoW on a GM character if they need to fix something (such as despawning a mob) that applies only to your specific server. If you can /who GM and there name shows up there usually around somewhere in game...

As for them talking to you, they have a seperate program thats basicly just connected to the chat log part of the server (or maybe the chat logs for all servers are connected into one machine... who knows) and they talk to you useing that... from there they can probly do everything they can normally do in game but they just cant verify(visually) the problem. I believe someone once told me that there client has a dos window kinda look to it... (maybe theve upgraded it since them). It does have some customizable buttons on the side of it (for those copy paste anwsers you get) and its supposed to be easy on the eyes so that they can work longer withot getting headaches. Thats about all I know about that but feel free to ask and I may remeber something else...

Oh and when it says 10 mins it just means that ur ticket is withen the top 20 for GM's to look at.

Rofl, if that was true, do you honestly think the waiting line for your petition would be as long?

    Re: Warning for GM's presence

I'm sorry I don't know anything about GMs or being one. I was just going off of what i would assume is logical. I never thought about a queue-ing system...sorry to have wasted all your time....
