[Possible Exploit in WOTLK] Heroic Leap (Warrior Talent)

I was just reading through the new Talents and I saw this 51points Fury-Warrior skill "Heroic Leap".
World of Warcraft Europe -> Info -> Klassen -> Krieger -> Talentrechner der Wrath of the Lich King-Beta
Didn't Blizzard think this through? With this skill you could easily exploit nearly every BG by jumping on a roof behind a chimey to bandage yourself while the enemy can't do anything or behind a base in WSG. And with Bloodrage you don't even need a potion since you can reach 15 rage easily.

no apparently heroic leap works just like charge, there must be a path to where you want to jump so you cant exploit it like that, but i'm sure someone will find an exploit in it

mmh in the youtube vids it says "range 25 meters" and thats what it does, no targeted area, jumps a straight line of i think 25 meters.
in the current skill-tree it says "8-25" and "targeted area"
so I suppose its going to be changed?! I don't see it any usefull as it is in the videos since you can't really see where you are going to land = no way to target enemys

Just stand on Dun Baladar bridge in AV and wait for a bunch of hordes to come and knock them off the side

Well, you WERE able to jump up small ledges with the same spell of the Barbarian in Diablo 2, so it probably and hopefully will work like the D2 one.... But only problem is, what good is having a warrior on a ledge?

u jump a bit in the air and land, so should be exploit able, but i think u need a target to get the, u cant just heroic leap around as u please, the same with new faral charge in cat form

i think you will be able to jump at a targeted area since they write it like that in the tooltip on the skillplaner
and if you remember tbc beta there were also skills that were changed on the real release

Will probably just end up needing a target to get used.

When i saw the video of this, my thought was "So.... you have to use this like, 10 times to know and get used to how far to stand back before you use it?"

I'm currently playing WOTLK Beta. I also played Alpha. During Alpha heroic leap was able to have you click any area and jump to it, as long as it was in 25 meters (Was amazing for getting random ass places). But during Beta it was changed, now it throws you forward 8-25 yards, landing on nearby enemies and dazing them. It's really weak in it's current state and kinda of annoying because you can't really control where you end up.

This is a stupid post. There is no sense on talking about something in beta, something that will change alot before release... and something that most of us can't even use right now.

This could be awesome in Nagrand Arena if your healer has to pillarhug and you're getting low on health, just jump back to the pillar and let your healer do his job.
Or you could go bloodrage, charge, heroic leap, defensive stance, intervene, zerger, intercept.
What, about 100 yards in a few seconds?

Heroic Leap. In my opinion Sucks. Blizzards needs to re think the new warrior talents.
