Thank you for downloading TransGaming's demonstration release of SwiftShader,
our high-speed pure-software 3D renderer.

SwiftShader is a revolutionary software-only 3D renderer that supports
DirectX 9 features including both Pixel and Vertex Shaders and can be more
than 50 times faster than Microsoft's reference rasterizer. SwiftShader
achieves this level of performance through the use of TransGaming's SwiftAsm
runtime code generation system. SwiftAsm allows developers to easily and
efficiently generate highly optimized code entirely at runtime. SwiftShader
uses SwiftAsm to translate both shader-based and fixed function geometry
and pixel pipeline operations into high-speed x86 SSE and MMX code, which
is then cached for later reuse as needed.

NOTE: Use of the SwiftShader Demonstration Release is subject to the enclosed
SwiftShader License agreement which you must have agreed to before downloading
this package.

System requirements
-------------------

* 700 MHz (or higher) x86 CPU with SSE extensions.
Pentium-M CPU recommended.
* Basic 2D video card - no 3D card necessary!
* Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP
OR
* Linux system running TransGaming's Cedega
* 256 MB RAM
* 25 MB free hard disk space


Installation
------------

TransGaming's SwiftShader 3D renderer is packaged into two DLL files:
D3D8.DLL and D3D9.DLL

These DLL files can be dropped into a directory containing an application
that uses Direct3D, and SwiftShader will automatically be used in place of
the built-in OS version of Direct3D. Note that some applications may load
the D3D DLL directly from the Windows System32 directory. Such programs
will not work directly with SwiftShader without modification.

In addition to the DLL file, an optional configuration file can be used
with SwiftShader. This file, SwiftShader.ini, should also be put in the
same directory as the application. The comments in the SwiftShader.ini
file provide basic documentation on the available options. The commercial
version of SwiftShader includes an API for changing many of these
settings at runtime.

I got Wow running with using the first .DLL only. I have yet not been able to see any changes ingame with it tho.. might test on a more badly shaped PC

i wouldnt use it... it's just unreal and i doubt it works. im sure it probably has some feature in it that downloads a keylogger into it while you're using it. dlls are good at concealing things

Isnt lag based on basically what processor you have and how much memory your computer holds, a program cant change your lag unless it cleans your computer and cancels processes your computer doesnt need.

I had major lag prob's wile in major citys then i Upgraded my ram and its all fixed . dont use programs ppl post that says "I can reduce your lag ill even toss in the free trojan "

Exactly, both points made.
I just upgraded my ram, made lagforge lawlforge, back when major towns actually were laggy and full of 393 thousand 60s.

A programm CANT remove ur laggs, if u have laggs because ur pC , u have to get ram or a graphic card that is enough for wow

if u have laggs due to a high ping because your router sucks , look up for fast path , low ping garanted ///

Windows is set to run at a "normal" speed. Lets say this speed is 1. What these programs do is make the "normal" speed greater than 1. So, he said this makes your system 50 times faster... the "normal" speed would be changed from 1 to 50.

Have you guys ever heard of logarithms? Well they work but halving the workload until the desired destination is obtained. This, style shall we say, of organization requires less computing power or work then a normal, linear counting algorithm. This is what this does, it changes the logic of the graphical processor (software wise) and could possibly enhance game play. However, this programs sadly fails at doing that, so I would advise you don't try it even though you're not a risk for trojans, keyloggers, etc. (I scanned with Virustotal= clean).

Lag can be caused by zillions of different reasons. If it's your ram or internet connection this program can do Nothing. But this program "should" make your graphic card run faster. I don't know does it work, but it could. As we know, Microsoft can't make anything work the proper way. Thats why Mac/Linux 4ever!
