I was out on Quel Danas and doing my dailys.
I Cheap shotted a Dawnstrider Summoner, and then did hemo on the pet, and swithced target to the Summoner again. I noticed that i still had my 3 combo points left on the "master" of the pet. You will have to be fast when switching targets

Working as intended.

You keep your combo points normally.

I've been on a boss lots of times where the party has wiped (I've vanished).
I've then ressed the healer (Jumper Cables thanks very much!) then selected the boss again and had all the combo points I had before.


To be honest I'm very surprised you got to lvl 70 and haven't noticed it yet.

Read the post guys. He should have lost his points on the first target because he generated points on the second target, but through fast target switching, the original CPs were not lost.

Did some further research, it seems like you will have to one hit the imp. Then the combo point you got on the imp, dont get saved, but the one on the master will be

I've known this myself and come to clarify that this only works when you kill the mob, (you prob one-shotted the imp).

I think its working as intended, that you keep your points if you happen to kill another mob with one use of hemo/SS whatever.

( will prob work if the mob/player has low hp and you kill it with your attack too)
