Fishing Exploit

For those who enjoy fishing and have invested countless hours leveling up and upgrading their gear, have you ever questioned why fishing doesn’t seem very profitable? The reason is quite clear: there’s an exploit that’s apparently been around since Dragonflight, and it seems to have been overlooked.

This exploit, as I discovered it, involves configuring a key to interact. By pressing the key to collect the fish and quickly casting your line again, the fish is sent to your mail without canceling certain buffs, like the one required to catch the Awoken Coelacanth. I didn't even bother testing it on other fish, like the Sanguine Dogfish.

Confirmed working. I set my Fishing skill to 1, interact on mouseover to 2, bought 10 Whispering Stargazer, went to Azj-Kahet, chucked the ten fish into some water, and began fishing. When the bobber bobbed, I pressed 2 then 1 right after. I did not see the loot window half of the time, but that shouldn't matter. You'll get gray junk too, but it doesn't go to the mail. Just be sure to turn off auto loot to do it right.

The fish marked in red (minus 3 of the top right fish, had some already) were what I got from a single buff. Easily converts ~330 gold to ~4023 gold (based off of my server's prices). Fish don't sell super fast, but they DO sell.

EDIT: Second attempt only yielded one coelocanth. RNG be RNG, but one or more is still a profit regardless.

How long until fish comes to mailbox? Done 20 fish and see something fast than it dissapears when its not trash. Eaither its just gone or its takes 1 hour for it to arrive?

Fishing in sitting position will allow you to not break buff.
