Get faster mining skill

Hi there!

I've found this bug when playing around on my new toon.
Everyone knows that lvling mining up is a pain in the ass. I myself have skilled it up when I was 70.

Anyways, when you find a vein to mine, mine it once. Then you go kill 1-2 mobs, and skin them if you can, then you simply walk back and mine again. Then you should notice you get 2 skillsups for the same vein! This is very usefull when there ain't many veins around.

I'm not sure if you have to kill some mobs, skin something or just wait some time, but maybe it's all of them and it wont hurt if you use your time killing and skinning instead of dancing .

Hope this is as usefull to others as it has been to me

I don't think it has to do with the killing the mobs, it just waiting for more charges to spawn on the node, I regularly mine some nodes four times in a row.

Have you done it repeatedly?

Sometimes there is more than vein spawned at the same place.

I know about the multiple spawning veins in the same position, but that ain't it.

And it will work as many times as you can mine it as usual, which means 2-4 times or so. You can then get skill for each time, but you wont get more ores out of it in total.

Is that clear?

this is a bug that comes out when u first mine once then skin and mine again. The game think's you have found a new veine and gives you a skillup

It works. But I hate to say this this is a repost. I have been doing this for ages, but good job finding it on your own.

And if you wait to long the node will dissapear (a few patches back Blizzard changed it so that if you open a chest, mine a node or anything else, but don't fully loot it it will dissapear)

It doesn't work if you only skin 1 mob. I tried to mine, kill one mob fast, and mine again, didn't get a skillup and the vein was orange (I think, at least).

there are no charges spawning on already farmed once/twice mine. You need to wait 5 minutes before farm the same mine again in order to skill up again, but the charges doesn't "respawn". I used this in Un'Goro with rich thorium veins.

well I can usually mine any node 2-4 times at a time without having to go do anything else so I assume this is working as intended

yea, like veins from barrens or durotar, once i mined 1 like 6 times... and i always got skillup

You didn't get 6 skillsups from 1 vein. Please read what I'm writing here >.<

And it's not 5 minutes you have to wait, I think it's aproxx 2.
