Can't believe this was 4 years ago.. anyway we have been developing a 1.8.0 experience off and on since then and are ready to roll it out. Only a few slots available for the first months so if interested register on the forum (same as above) and let me know. At our peek we had about 40 regular players on the old server, we don't advertise outside of forums and don't ask for or need donations, just a bunch of old nerds living in old WoW.

New 1.8.0 Server is running, you can find a full client and all the info you need: Free forum : BlackRock World of Warcraft 1.8.0

If you like Old WoW try it out give it a few hours then comment here on what you think of it. Any technical problems post to the server forum.

FYI, this is not a WAD or other repack of WAD or WoWEMU stuff, you will see stuff working I don't think anyone had working in 1.8.0. Have fun, remember you can be banned for bad language and bad behavior it's an old nerds WoW server, not anything Uber.

This is so weird man. I went to the website and at first it looked normal.

I registered an account so I could view more topics, found a "how to connect" which led me to googledrive files for the files you needed. Was looking for a realmlist but couldn't find it anywhere. Anyway after downloading first part of the client through googledrive I wasn't authorized to download any more. It said I lacked permissions.

I went back to the forum because I saw a torrent file was also posted. But now to the strange part; the forum had CHANGED completly!! The graphics looked different, all the posts were gone and the only post that was still there was some old one from 2007. I can't access the forum I was at first.

So now there's no way of me getting the client or realmlist, since I can't even go back to the original forum and ask. :S And googledrive doesn't allow me to download anything anymore, not even the first file that I had already downloaded.

WHAT'S GOING ON? It's like I stumbled on some secret CIA site and they quickly put it under the rug lol
