WoW 1.12.1 server, hosted in Europe, for everybody.

Backstory and Stuff
Wowmaw was originally a 3.3.x server. We had the latest patch and whatnot. Upon the Cataclysm release, when I started working on reversing the new client, light dawned on two things. One, that you'd need client-side modification and two, this was going to take a long time. Cut to a few days later and I started working on a 1.12.1 server, because that was when WoW was difficult, and pretty goddamn cool if you ask me.

So you're just another server?
Sorta. In total, we've been dabbling in emulators and servers for about two to three years. Myself, I'm experienced in a couple of programming languages and the like. Rest assured I know what I'm doing.

Anything unique or cool?
Other than our 1.12.1 core and our super-awesome and very modest staff, we have a completely custom-coded web interface from Sleighyah, offering various character management tools including race / faction changes, remote hearthing (if you get stuck in a crash loop), and bank checking. Why 1.12.1? 2.4.3 / 3.3.5 / 4.0.3 is so much better!
Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of our raid in old-school Naxxramas with my Corrupted Ashbringer. A lot of servers now run 2.4.3, 3.3.5, or those SUPER COOL LOLOLOLOL ones that 'run 4.0.3' which is actually 3.3.5 with a hack on the version number. They're broken in a lot of places either script-wise or logic-wise. With this build, custom items work.

Why Europe?
The server is hosted in the Netherlands. Long story short, we can never be shut down for copyright infringement. Alongside this, it means European players don't get pings in the quad digits like they do with US servers.

So what're the rates and stuff?
The server is an instant-60 server, however you don't get the best gear in the game and go and raid Naxxramas. You start at level 60 with Tier 1 and 1250 gold for spells and mounts. You go from there. If you don't want to start like that, submit a ticket and we'll reset you at level 1 so you can play through at your own pace.

Is there a chance of issues?
Like all servers, there's a chance that something will break. So far I've noticed no issues on the server whatsoever, but I have not personally visited each and every instance yet.

Who runs this?
So far, the staff are as follows:

Sleighyah - That'll be me! Owner of the server, coder of all of the web stuff. Likes bagels and cream cheese. Counts in base six and is a security analyst (hacker) in his spare time, so you know this server is secure.

Harmony - Co-Owner (you need one), community relations and third degree in-game support. Enjoys drumming and anime. His spare time is devoted to coming up with crazy screw-with-your-head theories.

Toxic - MIA. Was second degree in-game support. Location unknown. Last sighted travelling to the kitchen. Presumed fed.

Router - Community relations and first degree in-game support. Enjoys restarting his character every fourteen minutes and twenty four seconds.
