Penalty is a new server, made by over 200+ Developers.
Currently there is only one realm, There is room for expansion later as the second and third realms may be added in the future.

Realm: Penalize
Penalize is a Instant 80 Realm, You get 6000Gold when you create a character. There is a large town available to players called "New Avalon"
This location is originally where a death knight would complete their quests, Now. It is completely empty to make room for a large scale feature rich mall, providing thousands of items. Let me share some examples of the mall and its features. The mall has a teleporter with Mall Quick transports that help you navigate around the mall without having to take time and run to the destination and also helps you find things better without need of assistance. Spell master can learn all spells for your class, all your weapon skills, the spell master will not train talent spells, that is why it is placed by all the Class trainers. If you are interested in learning professions, you have a extremely large resource of every supply vendor and the trainer it self to help you quickly get to the highest skill level, as well there is pretty much every resource available to you to skill up any profession.

Is there anything fun that I can do on penalty?
Yes there are wide variety's of Events that play throughout the day, If thats not what you want. You can also ask any GM or Admin to accompany you in a Instance/Raid meaning helping you go through it but without gm powers. You may earn something called BB (Burning Blossoms) which each one is worth 100 Gold, you will be able to purchase many items like T10.5 in the mall just for doing events and sometimes a gift for different holidays, Yet this isn't just for T10.5 You can also buy many other things that may be fun, certain items that can be entertaining. Special locations reserved to you only and/or your guild too. Special Account levels to allow you to teleport places and such, many things can be purchased with BB (Burning Blossoms).

Our Servers
I don't have a clue why Server Specifications and structure is a big problem for some users to want to join a server, but I will include some detail.
Here you will see that there is no lag.

Firstly, Penalty is ran by a Hosting company named Penalty Hosting Services. Which is probably one of the most reliable hosts currently available today, yet they don't allow purchase of servers yet.

Our servers consist of two AMD based servers
The first one which is the Webserver and Login server
the second one is the Game Server, and only that runs on it. Absolutely nothing else, And no multiple realms are allowed to run on this server but one single realm, This allows for the most reliable server and speedy performance wise.
The second server directly connects to the first servers MySQL connection locally which is the characters database.
