Lots of easy ways to make gold. TSM has proven extremely useful for me leveling alts/profs and even flipping stuff. As soon as I bothered to set it up, I was up to almost 20k within 3 days or so (not game time).

Pets/mounts are easy money but you gotta understand what sells/what people buy (and at what prices!). If you try your hand at flipping some pets it requires a bit of startup gold no doubt as they are pricier. Keep an eye for twink items (19 usually), altho I did flip a mantle of agi (lvl 29) for 11272g (purchased for 125g).

TSM will help you with all that. There's lots of info/guides out there for TSM as well (tradeskill master).
