Change DB to allow classes to use different armor / weapons

Hello, I'm using a Legion repack for 7.3.5 26972
I am just hosting myself, for my friends and I, I want to be able to remove armor and weapon restrictions to allow all classes to use them, I also want them to be able to be unlocked for transmog, I've never edited DB2 files before, looks vastly confusing, I've tried looking at Trinity Item template, but it doesn't make sense to me.

Well for example you would do something like:

UPDATE item_template SET AllowableClass = 0;

To update ALL items to have no allowable class restrictions. Each row represents one item and each column represents some property for the item. You probably want to filter down your query to a small subset, by filtering by the item class and subclass and maybe item levels etc.

I see, ok! Currently I am used WDBX I think? Is there another program you would recommend? Seems very hard to what I thought would be easy, I thought I could just add a couple flags and wah-La lol

WDBX is for interacting with the DBC/DB2 files I believe, which the client uses but also the server uses for some data.

In 3.3.5 at least most of the item data is stored in the server MySQL database rather than the DBC/DB2 client files.

You can use a program like Navicat or SQLyog Community Edition to connect and interact with the database. SQL queries are simple to learn and there are plenty of tutorials online.

You can get the connection details from your worldserver config file.

Would spell editing also be in a similar spot? Or do you think that would be in DB2 files?
