Modifying Usable Armour Types

Hi all


I need to be able to change which types of armour a player can use, regardless of their class. All characters on my server are created as warriors, but I need to be able to force some of them, for example, to only wear cloth or leather.

I have tried simply unlearning the spells linked to the armour type (e.g spell #750 for plate) but it hasn't worked.

Also, I'm using Eluna and would prefer to be able to do this via a lua script or DB edit.

if I understand correctly you want to remove plate and mail skills from classes. you just need to edit certain skill dbcs. find your skill id, and find the column for class masks. change that, and maybe your sql database for player_createinfo_skills.
dbceditor had trouble reading the skill dbcs for me, so I used dbcutility and csved. worked just fine
