Horde races in Alliance for questing and able to join alliance parties and vica versa

Hey,

So I've just started using the Mangos server (using the Wow single player project) on WoTLK 3.3.5a and I have two questions;

I wanted to be able to play as an orc and be able to start doing alliance quests, is that possible in any way. And if so, how?

I have searched around this website, google and various other sites for help but none seemed to have info about this. I did come to the conclusion that
I maybe needed to add a custom race and set it's faction to alliance. Which leads me to my next question.

I have followed a tutorial on a website on how to create one, I don't know if I can post links though, so let me just say that everything started out okay, I was able
to edit the .db and .xml files as the tutorial stated to add a custom race. Eventually the tutorial asked me to go to SharedDefines.h and player.h.

I could not find any .h files in my WoW folder whatsoever, where are they? If anyone could shed some light on this would be appreciated!

Okay so, I found this "fix". I think it's worth noting here.

By doing ".modify morph 20578" I am able to change into a male bloodelf with all my gear shown on him. Which is pretty neat.

morphing will not do anything. Either you go god mode or find the faction spell/trigger that causes target to change their faction standings, either that or a mod the faction standings.
A friend of mine plays on some fun server, he changes A to H vice versa and hes a worgen hunter.

Hmm, right. I do not fully understand you on what you meant by using god mode. I suppose you meant for me to godmode myself and then change the faction standing of the NPC so I'm able to do their quests? Might work, yes. I'll try and search for perhaps some patches around this website which will be able to do something like that. I thank you for your support on the matter though.
