    Friends cannot connect to my server!

    Please move to right section if this is not it!

    - Server's Patch:
    3.3.5 WotLK
    - Core/Type: ArcEmu
    - Issue:
    1. I've tried to setup my 3.3.5 server using a repack I recently downloaded, I'm able to login normally myself and play well as intended.
    2. However when I tried to make my server public and ask my friends to connect to the server (After making them accounts manually through Navicat ofc.) they just got stuck at ''Logging into Game Server''and couldn't connect
    3. I have the server hosted on my IP

    - My Stats:

    1 ) Internet Connection Speed:
    128 KB/sec (Grandma's house FTL)
    2 ) My Internal IP/IPv4 address: 192.168.1.102
    3 ) My External IP address:
    197.162.30.220
    4 ) The ports I forwarded (Linksys Router):

    5 ) What's inside my System32 Hosts File (Eternitywow.servegame is my setup at Free Dynamic DNS - Managed DNS - Managed Email - Domain Registration - No-IP)

    # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

    First of all, you are giving them your local IP address which is only good on your network. You need to find your external IP address, go to whatismyip.org and it will tell you. Next, you can pretty much forget playing with anyone because 128 Kb/s is not enough bandwidth to run a WoW server off of.

    Read the comments in the config file

    Code:
    <LogonServer Address = "192.168.1.102"
    Port = "8093"
    Name = "Default Logon"
    RealmCount = "1">

    Thanks a ton for the assistance, @DrD you're epic, but what if my external IP resets will I have to change it each time?

    EDIT: By the way, I changed my internal IP to my External IP as you instructed me, but for some reason I have this issue, saying the IP is not allowed

    Any Solution?

    Change
    <LogonServer RemotePassword = "ascent"
    AllowedIPs = "127.0.0.1/24"
    AllowedModIPs = "127.0.0.1/24">
    n dis 2.
    Use the DEFAULT addresses and Ports, except change the address in logon config: realm1 to your External IP.
    And if you didn't already know, ArcEmu a.k.a CrapEmu is the worst and most messed up emulator ever created. Go mangos brah.

    Do what the post above me by AfterDawn says, and also make sure the password you set for the LogonServer matches what you have on your world server. The logon server is a master server and should only accept connections from world servers you trust, ie. (When you have more than 1 world server on different IP's you would need to allow each one to connect to the Logon Server.)
