What stoneharry said but if you want to create your own speach then by all means look into these tutorials and sites:

This should give you a basic understanding of LUA:

I still not approve of those guides about learning programming for WoW. You need to learn programming in general first, then apply that knowledge to WoW.

I agree. With no programming background you will find it hard to understand the basic logic behind it, even something as simple as wow programming (not speaking of core edits here).
But his request wasn't that advanced or atleast not scripting a speach. The whole event would take some time;-)
