Weapons in Database not showing up in-game 3.3.5a

Hello, so I've been trying to break the fix blizzard put on custom weapons, and I used a program called WRATOR to do it. It takes your Item.dbc, and the sql version of the weapon, and spits out a patch that you apply to wow, as well as a new Item.dbc. When I went to execute the SQL into my database, everything seemed to work. But when I got into the game, it wasn't showing up. I already restarted my server twice, and wondering why its in the database but not wow itself. Could this have to do with me replacing Item.dbc? Any advice on the matter would be great. Cheers

If the item doesn't show up at all (even when you do ".lookup item"), then it's not in the database properly. The item DBC only handles the items display, equipment type and similar irrelevant things. So run the SQL's again, make sure it said executed successfully. Make sure the ID isn't ridiculously high (I keep mine around 80,000). And most importantly, if you are using a repack, or have multiple servers, make sure you're connected to the right database.

Aha! Item IDS were jacked up and all I had to do is change those, and run the sqls again. Thanks
