help with alpha 1.12.1 client download.

cant figure out and have searched muiltiple places.

i have downloaded and extraced a WoW 1.12.1 alpha client, when i go to launch game it says to launch the game from the updater.
i have created a shortcut as told and added -uptodate in properties i have had no luck and the few files of full install are unfortanatly torrents and my connection wont grab many seeders. please help i really would like to play Vanilla wow on a repack found here.

also could anyone reccomend a fun repack that i can play alone on for 1.12.1?

I can't help you with the alpha, but for 1.12.1 I HIGHLY reccomend AlterWoW's blizzlike repack

Well do you mean Alpha version 5.3? Or are you talking just about vanilla wow? They are two different things. But, if you're just going for the original game (vanilla), then I'd agree with turtleswin and say definitely use AlterWoW's blizzlike repack.
