[Question] Catching Up

Hi guys!

I've been away from the emulation scene for a long, long time - probably two to three years, and I'm having a bit of trouble regaining my footing. Could someone take a moment to catch me up on the status of things regarding the main emu's and databases?

It seems like ArcEmu is dead? (last commit was around two months ago if I'm not mistaken) If one wanted to run a Cata server, I presume they'd be looking at Skyfire? Secondary - if someone wanted to run a WoTLK server would they be looking at ArcEmu still for stability and functionality?

SkyFire for Cataclysm, but it's still quite buggy.

TrinityCore for 3.3.5a (WOTLK). ArcEmu has gone downhill big time in the last year or so.

Off to go investigate Trinity now! (The one Emu I've never used before.)

Yes it's a lot alike.

Also for any people reading this asking the same question but are new to the emu scene. ArcEmu is still a good core to learn on.
