    Triggering a spell on damage [C++]

    Hello dear arcemu users!

    I'm trying to make 'Taste for Blood' talent to work correctly. Currently in arcemu you get every 6 seconds the proc from a timer. Blizzlikely you get the proc when your Rend ability successfully damages target. If target absorbs the Rend damage then 'Taste for Blood' won't proc. So where in the source code (or database?) exactly you can make 'Taste for Blood' to proc when Rend successfully damages your target? I can't seem to find it ._.

    Try [C++] add to spellproc_warrior.cpp class TasteOfBloodSpellProc : public SpellProc { - Pastebin.com
    I'm not sure if it will work due to I'm unable to test it, at the least it will make it only proc on rend.

    & returns xxx for mask match, so why would you ignore it when it hits?
    Also I'm pretty sure spell hit isn't triggered on rend ability proc, but when spell finalizes application of aura.

    I know what it does, I was doing return true because if I read the code the handles the proc correctly, it stops the proc from happening.

    My bad :P

    Hadn't looked at the handling of the doEffect call in the core.
    Was thinking pre-requisite check not function call with ignore main functionality.

    Forgot to reply to this thread.
    I didn't test the patch out yet, Terrorblade, but that's something atleast and the code looks like it could work. Thankyou.
