Cataclysm Skyfire Emu Disconnect on login

I've searched over and over again, through numerous sites, and threads. I can't seem to find a fix for this.

I am running two cores (Trinity, and Skyfire Emu) and they both work properly, except the fact that the skyfire emu one will disconnect you on login.


So any help with this would be wonderful. Thanks in advance

Did you use the patcher tool thing they provide?

This is why im stucking to 3.3.5a too many bugs imo with the cata releases.

2d the patcher tools only fixes stuff in game, like talent trees working and NPCs with "unknown" names.

@2d, yes I used the skyfire patcher i compiled in c#. It worked successfully. However the problem persists.

i had my cata repack started at first, worked fine to start, login in and such, then i edited one of the config files and i got the same problem, i remember having this back in 3.x.x repacks and was something to do with a reallm loop.

Hmm have you done any modificications to the emulator at all? Also (my lack of mangos knowledge) are u using the realmd.exe from the skyfire emu or other one?

I am using the skyfire authserver. And running the trinity, and skyfire worldservers on it. I can log in to my 3.3.5a (trinity) server with no issues. It's in the skyfire that I cant do it.

I am leaning towards its a host file issue. However I am unsure of this at the time.

Note: I believe the cataclysm server is trying to connect with the 3.3.5a servers worldserver and authserver. If I take down the other realm I get "Login Server Down".

What could this mean, and how could I make the one server go off separate world and authservers?

bump, i have the same problem also want to state that i have changed both ports on both servers and problem still persists
