Looking for any repack with patch 4.0 - 4.2

Hello im looking for a repack that got the patch from 4.0 to 4.2 ( cataclysm ) was a couple of years since i was here, is any 4.0 - 4.2 realsed? or is it impossbile to get? have been of for a couple of years but was intressted of getting a cataclysm repack

Not a repack but you could certainly compile your own Core. I know that SkyFireEMU has 4.0.6 working right now. So Just go to google and type the name of the EMU in and go to their website.

, hmm a little question if a got the patch 4.2 downloaded can a login with that patch? or do i need too downgrade it?

I believe (don't hold this against me) that you have to downgrade.

ah, btw a little side question, if a copy wow into 2 different folders and one of them a only have patch 4.0.6 am able too play on both patches if a use different lunchers :P?..

Example, wow map 1 patch 4.0.6

wow map 2 patch 4.2

then if a start wow with the luncher from map 1 i get patch 4.0.6 ? and wow map 2 a get 4.2 ? or am way out of the blue^^.

Your actually right on track!

But lets say you want to make a server that is 4.0.6 and don't want that specific wow folder (map 1) to update anymore, dont use the launcher as it will reset your realmlist file and start patching up to the latest patch. Just run that WoW from WoW.exe in the respected folder. As for the Folder for 4.2 (map 2) you can load the game up from the launcher no problem

yeah a got it ^^, yeah a also tought that a had too do that and not use the launcher, just too lazy too edit it hehe

do you know if a can get a 4.2 by compiling it myself? or is it gonna get really hard ^^?, had my own private server for a couple of years back, but stopped due too other priorities.
