    "Patch Required" problems.

    I've had a private server running for a week now. I ran into a problem just recently that will not allow me to log into the game at all. My server is updated to 3.3.5a, and so is my WoW client.
    My realmlist only has my server dns in it. When I login to the game, I get this error:

    It shows the nightelf screen and says, "Downloading update" and then it tries to get me to restart.

    I have searched extensively and nothing seems to help.

    Are you using the wow.exe instead of the launcher.exe

    I figured it out, please someone delete this thread. Thank you for your reply, it is much appreciated. My friend was trying to access WoW through typing in her email address instead of account name which
    initiates the patch downloader.
