    Gossip menu on item

    Hi,
    I really want to get gossip menus working on an item, even if it means modifying the core. E.g. This script will not work:
    Code:
    class gossip_custom_item : public ItemScript
    {
        public:

            gossip_custom_item()
                : ItemScript("gossip_custom_item")
            {
            }

            bool OnUse(Player* player, Item* item, SpellCastTargets const& /*targets*/)
            {
                            player->ADD_GOSSIP_ITEM( 2, "Example 1", GOSSIP_SENDER_MAIN, 1);
                            player->ADD_GOSSIP_ITEM( 2, "Example 2", GOSSIP_SENDER_MAIN, 2);
                            player->SEND_GOSSIP_MENU(DEFAULT_GOSSIP_MESSAGE,item->GetGUID());

                            return true;
            }

    };
    When right-clicked, nothing happens.
    If nobody has an actual patch, could I at least find out where I should be looking to modify, as in what files?

    Thanks
