Removing items from players

So on my server, a GM decided to give out wrathful to players (Even tho it's impossible to have earned it yet) so I went to the DB - Characters to remove them

I looked up every item, and deleted it in the "equipmentCache" one by one, replacing the wrathful numbers with a 0. We then restarted the server to ensure that it would've been removed.

After the restart, all the numbers had added themselves to the "equipmentCache" again, and players still had their wrathful...

Do any of you know how to remove the items from the players?

Players passwords are encrypted, so that no accoutns can be stole (so we can't log on them)
I am currently running around, force-removing them when i see them But I know there's a way to do it by SQL, I just can't find anything, anywhere

You have to delete them from character_inventory table.The equipementCache is just for the preview option in the login screen i think.

DELETE FROM character_inventory where item IN(ITEMID1, ITEMID2, ITEMID3, ITEMID4)

execute that into your chatacter database, substituting as many item IDs as you need.

Also, maybe you should fire that GM. :P
