Invisible forge

What would be the best way to create a NPC or Game Object thats not visible by players that would allow smelting when a pc is near them.

In Dalaran theres an Enchanted Anvil and I want to make it so a player can smelt ore in that same room. I also want to make this possible in Tanks For Everything in the middle of the 2 forges.

Theres an invisible npc called Steam Burst that I checked into the flags but was unable to find how to make smelting allowed when near this npc.

Cant you just place one underground?

You can set it to an invisible display id and that will work.

Both are great ideas, thanks for the reply. I copied a forge gob and set the display to invisible and worked really nice. Even when you mouseover the area it even says Forge.

I would still like to know why the Steam Burst npc (only visible in DM mode) doesnt work like this. I know thats why this npc is there because Ive seen it in Warsong Hold and at Agmars Hammer in the blacksmith areas. I am sure it is located in other areas also. I still cant find any flags for a npc but at least I got it working.
