dyndns expired, renewed with same name, now cant log

I have been using Dyndns.com for free hosting for about 3 months now. The free hosting service expires after a month and I have to make a new account.

Last month I just re-created my account with the same host name and everything was fine.

Today I did the same thing. I restarted my modem, router, server pc, and all other pc's on my network but I am unable to view my account creation page or log in to my server.

I can view my account creation page on the server pc by using the 127.0.0.1 ip in IE's address bar. I can also view this page on my other pc's if I use the servers 192.168.1.## ip but not my dns host name.

I can log into my server on the server pc and network pc's but only after I change the sql realmlist and my wow realmlist's ip to the servers lan ip (192.168.1.##)
I didnt try this using 127.0.0.1 on the server pc cause the lan ip worked.

Other than the sql realmlist ip I did not change any router or port settings. I double-checked these settings and they didnt change after I restarted my modem and router.
My firewall settings have not been changed either.

Why cant I connect to my server using my dns name?

Is it possible, that after restarting your modem, you received a new IP and the dyndns dns updater hasn't updated to the new ip?

Thanks for the reply, My ip is static. I went through all the guides on the dyndns web site and everything checks good so idk what the deal is.

EDIT
I know I didnt change any settings in my modem but the firewall was blocking the ports.
