Custom Heirloom Items

Is it possible to make our own custom heirloom items? If so how would I go about doing this.

If not would it be possible to edit the current heirloom items?

Everything is possible; Just explore how the private server you're using is doing it and then you can do it. It shouldn't be harder then that.

Compile a server that you like, look how that server handles the item, try do one yourself.

I'm looking for a way myself, there are two columns in your item table that relate to this... ScalingStatDistribution and ScalingStatValue. The best I can tell they reference to the dbcs that are titled the same, but I am unsure of how the tags work or what the dbcs mean, there is no information out there on them yet. I am doing some trial and error trying to figure it out and I'll let you know as soon as I figure out more.
