How can i downgrade from 4.0.1 to 3.3.5?

hi, this is my first post

me and my friends are trtying to create a private server, we have the actualy server set up (hopefully) but me and my other friend have to downgrade to 3.3.5 to be bale to connect to it, does anyone know how to do this? google searching told us to delete the patch.mpq file but itsnt in here :/

I don't think you can.

Since 4.x is now Cataclysm (almost all the data for it) you can't downgrade.

It's the same with each major patch, if you upgrade you have to reinstall. :/
