    I need two new Extended_Cost ID's one for 22985 honor, and another for 225 Arena Points 6185 Honor.

    You can either:

    • Modify the World server's code to load additional ExtendedCosts data from a separate source (Database).
    • Edit ExtendedCosts.dbc.

    Either way, the costs will not show up in the client.

    Easiest way is to find a DB editor and edit the server side ExtendedCosts.dbc.

    I tryed doing so, I opened the DBC editor, opened "itemextendedcost.dbc" and found an entry I didnt want/need and changed it...

    I set fields 1-15 too 0 except for fields 2 and 3, I set field 2 to 29985 and field 3 to 225. Then saved. Reloaded my server, and added a random vendor using the command ".npc additem 32616 0 0 2974" 32616 is the item I am adding, it is Egbert's Egg, a companion and 2974 is the entery I changed in my DBC. It seems to me this should work, is there anything you guys can pick up on as wrong?

    Thanks,
    Obrien28

    EDIT::
    It does work, only the currency below my item is an Ashen Verdict Band opose to an Honor symbol and ammount and Arena symbol and ammount. How can I change it so players on my server can see the currency below my item as Honor/Arena not an Ashen Verdict Band.

    That's what I was talking about. You can't.

    You can release a client patch to do so, but good luck getting players to download it.

    You'd be better off making a Gossip NPC that gives you items for points instead of a vendor. Then you can display the cost.

    I was just looking on Cruel-WoW and they have Wrathful Gear that costs 175 Arena Points and 6400 Honor Points, and I did not have to download a custom patch to see them, how is this possible?
