Cannot go public (with hamachi)

OK i have gotten a trinity repack to test with to see what would be best suited for me (mangos or trinity). Trinity is amazing and has everything working, but i cannot get it to go public via hamachi, so my mate can't test the realm with me. if i change all the IPs in the config files and try to load the application for it, it opens up and crashes and closes.

this is what it says: Could not connect to MySQL database at "5.109.22.247: Unknown MySQL server host '"5.109.22.247' (0)

For people connecting to the DB it will be the hamachi IP.
- For you, it will be 127.0.0.1 AKA localhost.

If MySql is installed on the same machine you are running the server on, then it should work if you have the correct port (default is 3306), so most emus have a line that usually looks like the following in their config files.

127.0.0.1;3306;user;password;worlddb

where 127.0.0.1 is the localhost, 3306 is the MySql port, user is the MySql username, password is the MySql user password, and worlddb is the name of the Database. Some will have up to 3 different databases, login, realm and world.

It has been a while since I played around with Trinity, but it seems like I recall there being a table that is called something like realms or realmlist, that is where you put your public ip address, or hamachi ip.

Hope this helps in some way, of course, you may have already knew all that.

i have stuffed around with that for awhile now, it wont even load the authserver now, i can't get on it myself...
thanks for this info this will help me when i can manage to get my realm running.
