    Broken Mount Speeds

Ok, I can't find a thread about this anywhere so I'm going to make my own here.

For some reason, all of the flying mounts do not move at the speed they're designed to. It seems like they're moving at the speed set for the ground. I've tried both slow and fast flying mounts. If anyone has a fix for this or could show me how to fix it, that would be great.

    +Rep to whomever helps me.

Well, mount speed is controlled in Spell.dbc. I'm pretty sure of that.
Re-extract DBC files and recompile your core..?
Unless you're using a repack. If you're using a repack, try another repack. Or compile your own core.

I'm a newer server owner and have done a lot of work on this server. I don't know how to recompile... Lol

I have the Zaknology 3.3.5 pack.

i thought mount speed was controlled in the spellfixes.cpp in the c++ of your core. Anyways, If you mean doing work by working on the database, you can recompile your core while keeping most of the same db intact. Just look at some guides on compiling your own Arcemu. A compiled server of your own is always better than a repack.

edit: nvm, turns out you can indeed also change spell.dbc like covert said. Easier for you since you dont have to recompile the core.

Anywho, open up spell.dbc with taliis or another dbc editor, and find your spellid in the first column. Then find line 81, and change that to the number you want 60% speed = 59, 100% speed = 99, 280% speed would be 279 and 310% speed = 309. Hope that helped.
