Need a Guide!

I've been playing private servers for a while and ive grown interested in trying to make my own... i was wandering if anyone has a guide to make one like with a repack i guess and i would like to be able to host it my self, there will only be a max of 3 or 4 people on it and there not in my LAN

Do NOT go around filters.

There are multiple guides here within the guide section, they all tell you what you need to do.

A repack is something created by someone else that allows a one click install... you'll just be hosting a server, you don't need to create a repack.
