Database you pick!

Ok guys before anything i compiled my new arcemu core yey xD. Well is not going to be worldwide release just for friends to pvp and such.

My question is 'which database do you suggest for me to use for arcemu?

Il take all suggestion then il pick. Remember pvp server, working spells are a must. let me know guys

If only spells were handled by the DB, now would that be awesome, creating custom spells without patches. you will NOT get all working spells unless you or one of your friends is a fairly knowledgable in C++. a DB i would recommend is LHDB. I'm an Arecmu fan and that's all i ever use (because of my types of projects) but honestly for your type of server what you really need is Trinity.

ArcEmu doesn't really have any real good databases... There all crap... I use WhyDB since what they -do- do is quite blizzlike and they were the first ones with the updated playercreateinfo for the cataclysm pre-patch.

LHDB I would highly NOT recommend since this is done by amateur developer(s) who do everything by hand (human error) and adds loads of custom content (look in spawns/creatures/gameobjects... So much junk, it's even got some of my custom releases from years ago) which is sometimes even spawned... Very bad.

Mangos/Trinity have by far the best databases, and they are very good. Take a look at this thread for if it still works it is worth a try: Sign In - ArcEmu

Trinity is by far the better option for anything related to blizzlike, as it has pretty much everything working.

And yet stone you call self a emulation expert...But you are not..O yeah btw one news for i am not doing every thing by head this is why i got parsers and snifters to take data from retail...
About custom content yeah i know there is some left there but i will remove it all in next changeset.

Now about "amateur developer" were i so amateur when you needed disaplayids for gameobjects for Lk script.You think i forgot that when you asked me on msn disaplyids can i get for iceshards..
Still doing every thing by hand is good thing.Why?
Let me give you example who much ppl are using wow-v to create everything?I assume a lot...And who much ppl like that call self a developer?I assume a lot too..Guess what they are non from it...They could never be developer...Making items on sites and executing batch file in db is not making you developer...

Next time check who do you call amateur when you are nothing better then it...Title doesnt mean anything when you dont have knowledge in head....
