Solo server? [details inside]

Hello community, I'm kinda new around here although I've been silently lurking for a while. After years and years of official WoW, and since I'm rather busy irl, I've decided to quit it and go for private servers instead of paying for something I do not play with that much. And that's where I started to wonder how it would be to program a private server so that I could solo my way in dungeons, but while still mantaining the challenge factor and making gear drops required to move onto the next dungeon.

So I've been messing with a private server of my own, now I'm more familiar with databases and such, but I still couldn't come up with a good setup. Either I become too powerful and gear becomes useless, or dungeons are impossible. So what I'm asking is this: has anyone successfully made such a server? If so, how?

If you use the emulator core known with the name as Trinity Core.

It is possible to get playerbots.

Playerbots acts as a player, controlled by the computer (durhhh bot) Makes it possible for you to do raids etc without having to find 40 friends to connect to your server,

I'm not sure how good it works, but according to the tester blogs, it should work really good Go for it <3
