Cataclysm Alpha FPS drop

Hello everyone,

I recently installed the Cataclysm Alpha, and whenever I stray too far away from where I spawned at/teleported to I get about a 25 FPS drop (from 30) and some of the ground turns silver. When I stay in the "Lag area" too long my game crashes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

P.S. If this thread is in the wrong area please move it.

EDIT: I also cannot make a worgen/goblin, please help

This happens alot when your FPS drops. As its Cata Alpha/beta its just a Bumped up Warth of the lichking. Certain things may not agree with one another, Not to mention its a private server so its even more screwd up.
This does go by area and for some servers once you log back in its fine. The Worgen/Goblin thing is your Server.
