Melee patch help!

Hey guys! long time reader noob to writing!

Yesterday me and a friend of mine compiled our own arcemu from scratch thx to a awesome
guide here, we made it work and launched it public and everything works without a hickup.
I decided to make my own custom admin weps fully non aware of the "melee"patch,

tried 'em on and saw that the weps were equipped but my paladin spells said " require melee weapon " bla bla, so i googled and found a txt file with like 2400 entrys they said, so i redid the wep with a entry id from the dbc that should be recognized as 1h sword, and still...nothing

I would greatly appreciate some help! I looked in the forums for " melee patch " all six pages and nothing. THanks again!

* Also! I found a little workaround, if i use one of the "unused"entry id's and for some reason DONT set the quality higher then epic, then it works fine :S
Thou I wonder if there is a patch or so for this or if this is as good as it gets ?

Either
1. Replace a Blizzlike item which isn't used with a new item, or
2. If you want to use a custom id, you need to write the id and that weapon into your item.dbc
